Beginners / Intermediate Class:- Wednesday 7.00pm - 8.00pm
This class is for active adults and is suitable for those who wish to learn standard tai chi forms.
Learn the Yang 24 Form - also known as The Beijing Short Form.
One of the most practised short forms worldwide, the 24 Form will be taught from the beginning starting in January. Each week one or two new moves will be added, gradually building up to the complete form.
The Beijing form consists of 24 movements from the Yang Style and was developed by the Chinese government in 1956 to standardise tai chi. Partly for official competitions, but also to make tai chi and its health benefits more accessible for beginners.
CLASSES WILL START AGAIN ON 25th JANUARY
Over 50's Beginners Class:- Friday 2pm - 3pm
This is a Tai Chi for Health class. It is suitable for older adults.
The focus is on improving general health and wellbeing, flexibility, strength and balance. The main forms taught are Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, Tai Chi for Diabetes and Tai Chi for Osteoporosis
